I am very honored to run for a fifth term as board member for Banner Federal Credit Union.  I am currently the Senior Director of Payroll, Tax Compliance, Financial Information Systems Administration, and Construction Accounting for Banner Health.  I have a BA and MBA from Purdue University and Arizona State University, respectively.  In addition, I am a certified public accountant.  A Valley Leadership alumni and member of the American Institute of Certified Accountants, my current and past affiliations include Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, FIBCo Family Services, City of Phoenix Police Department’s Honors Board, Mentor Kids USA, and Aid to Adoption for Special Kids (AASK).  I would welcome the opportunity to serve again and ensure fair, positive, and impartial representation for our members.  Thank you for your consideration.

Rob Rost

With nearly two decades of dedicated service in Cybersecurity at Banner Health, I have consistently elevated my role within the organization. Culminating my journey in December 2023 as the Cybersecurity Architecture Director, I collaborated with Banner’s Chief Information Security Officer and other cybersecurity leaders to formulate and execute the organization's cybersecurity strategy, tactics, and operations. My focus remained on safeguarding Banner’s patient information and ensuring their safety. My educational background includes a Master's in Business Administration and a Master's in Anthropology. I hold industry certifications, including Certified Information Systems Security Professional, Certified Information Systems Auditor, and SABSA Chartered Security Architect – Foundation. Beyond my professional pursuits, my family is my top priority. Celebrating 15 years of marriage and parenting three children, I find joy in active involvement and volunteering at my church. With a passion for internet safety education and advocating for secure design practices, I believe in fostering a culture of cybersecurity from the outset. Dedicated to community engagement, I have been an active member of the Banner Federal Credit Union, serving as a board member since March 2017. I am eager to continue representing you for another three years, contributing to the credit union's growth and success.
